As you’ve most undoubtedly already read (why did you click on the link otherwise?), my name is Aubrey. I’m in my mid-late twenties and live in northern Indiana, and I live the best life possible for myself. I’m goofy, weird, make jokes I find humorous, and rarely shut up or sit still. I’m laughed at often because I’m short and skinny and have no upper body strength at all. I have dyed my hair pretty much every color under the spectrum at one time or another.
I knit, spin my own yarn, fold paper stars, write and color in paper journals, get together with friends and do random things, and occasionally I’ll pretend to know how to sew. I am in continuous motion and have a hard time sitting still while watching a movie. I love life, I love traveling, and I love to work. I’m currently employed as a web developer for a political website based in Chicago. I work with CSS, PHP, and standards compliant HTML and will talk your ear off about it if the subject interests you too. I love music, both live and recorded, and have a reasonably expansive knowledge of random songs and artists.
I grew up within a few hour’s driving distance the ocean and miss it every day. One day I will move back to Massachusetts and live closer to a place with salty air and marshes and seashells. I have lived in Indiana for over seven years and while I don’t regret moving, I do wish to move somewhere else in the future. I don’t think I’m meant to stay in one place my entire life.
I love word games. I love trivia. I love random conversation. I hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science. I drink beer and sing loudly in my car with my windows down. I wear heels to appear taller. I try to make sense of things that may not make sense. I always want to take more pictures but when the opportunity arises, I’d rather live in the moment.
I just try to live my life the way I want to live it. I live to be happy.
