Feeling… Hot! It’s been a warm summer and I’m getting ready for cooler temperatures! It’s supposed to rain this weekend, and I’m welcoming it with open arms.
Reading… Founding Mothers: The Women Who Raised Our Nation by Cokie Roberts. It’s not a bad book so far, but I’m not a huge fan of the writing style (a little too informal) or the flow (all over the place!). The subject matter interests me, so I continue reading.
Working on… the spinning projects from my previous post, but since it’s been hot, I haven’t done a bit of spinning in days. I did finally start the cross-stitch I mentioned on Monday, and I’m so excited to be back into cross-stitching! As for knitting, I’m still plugging away on a pair of vanilla socks, my very first Hitchhiker shawl, and my never ending Cozy Memories blanket.
Thinking about… how happy I am that I’m blogging again. I have missed it so much. Blogging may not be the same as it was when I posted a million times a month, but it’s still something I enjoy.
Craving… Sushi. Always sushi. I could eat it daily if I could.
Looking forward to… our upcoming trip to Eugene! We’ve heard so many great things about it and we’re looking forward to finding new restaurants, beers, and other things to do in town. There’s a knit shop I want to check out as well, of course. I’m also looking forward to my hair appointment next week, as I’m planning on making a drastic change to my hair! I get bored with it so easily.
Making me happy… The Wheel of Time Reread. I haven’t read WoT in probably 8 years, and I haven’t read the last 3 books in the 14 book series, so this is serving as a recap of sorts for me. I should just buy the books again and read the entire series, because I’m sure I’d read it over and over again.
