Holiday candy!

What is your favorite holiday candy?

Where do I begin with this? As any of you who know me well know, I love candy. Love it. Christmas isn’t my favorite candy holiday (that goes to Easter, because Mini Eggs and jelly beans are awesome), but it’s close.

Peanut butter cups!

I absolutely love Hershey’s Kisses and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. I also love the holiday M&Ms that come in red and green! My mom gives me M&Ms and Hershey’s Kisses every year, so I always look forward to it. When I was younger, I’d eat all my bags of candy in the span of a couple weeks, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve slowed my pace down a bit.

Another one of my favorites from a kid was the Sweet Storybook from Lifesavers! This little book screamed Christmas to me. I don’t think I’ve gotten one in my stocking since I was 13, and I’m not sure if they even still make them, but I have fond memories of Lifesavers around the holidays. I never ate them any other time of the year.

Gingerbread house!

I also love candy canes! Mint’s not my favorite flavor, but I do enjoy a peppermint candy cane from time to time. I also love the rainbow colored candy canes that just taste like pure sugar. I’m so not picky when it comes to my candy canes. Gingerbread’s not so bad, either. I also love ribbon candy, and would get a box of it from my parents every Christmas. Yeah, it would be gone before January, most of the time!

I love Christmas candy. I’m hoping to enjoy a bunch of Christmas chocolate from now until the end of the season!

  1. You might like the root beer, orange Crush and Dr. Pepper candy canes. I saw some at Walmart (I know, I know) the last time I was there. The Dr. P one does not taste like it, just sweet. The root beer one does taste root beery. I haven’t tried an orange one yet. Last year I got Swedish Fish ones. Those do taste like the candy!

    1. I’ll have to try those! I do love root beer and the Swedish Fish ones sound very intriguing!
