More happiness.

Happy Thing #2: This one’s a no-brainer. It’s Friday! I love being able to stay up late, sleep in the next morning, and do whatever I want the next day. Also, it’s the Friday before Christmas, so that makes me even happier! I also enjoyed a yummy burger at Bob Evans for lunch with a […]

Eight days of happiness.

It is winter. (Or, it will be in a few days.) Most of the time, I am okay with winter before the holidays. This year, due to the fact that we’ve received more snow before Christmas than I recall in a long time, I am not okay with it. I am downright sad and annoyed […]

A moment of happiness.

Today, things are good. Today, I like my life. I’m going out, enjoying my life, seeing new things, meeting new people. I’m looking forward to my future. I played games with a few friends of mine last night, laughed, ate cookies, and drank my signature drink of captain and pomegranite/cranberry juice. I’m knitting, and spinning, […]

27 years old

Today, I turned 27 years old. I spent the day with my husband, opening presents, cooking dinner, and baking cookies. I loved my birthday this year; low-key, quiet, and spent with the one I love. Merry Christmas.

Happiness is…

Beer, chocolate, cross-stitch, and listening to the DAMN GOOD new Black Rebel Motorcycle Club album with the husband. Yeah, it doesn’t take much to make me happy.

Carrie’s wedding

So, my sister’s wedding was this past weekend, so Scott and I made the drive over to Massachusetts so I could be her Matron of Honor. I had an excellent time, and her wedding was absolutely beautiful. I’m proud to have been part of it. I awoke at 8am on the wedding day and proceeded […]

Denise’s wedding

Denise and Colin married on Saturday, and I had the honor of being a bridesmaid in their wedding. I drove to Bloomington on Friday afternoon, passing two seperate wrecks and driving through the middle of nowhere, Indiana when one of the wrecks caused the main road to close. Scott made the drive in his car […]

THE RED SOX WON THE WORLD SERIES. I have no other words right now. I never thought I’d see it in my lifetime. Wow. So, how does it feel Red Sox fans? After all those decades, after all those agonizing last minute failures, after all those “1918′’ taunts from Yankees fans, how does it feel? […]

Happy birthday to me

On the strangest day of the year to have a birthday, I am 23 years old today. My birthday hasn’t ever really felt like my own special day for obvious reasons, but I’ve never actually minded it. I couldn’t imagine having my birthday on any other day. Merry Christmas, all. (On a totally unrelated note, […]

Feeling refreshed

Ever have one of those days where you just feel really productive and refreshed? Well, despite the horrid weather today I’ve had one of those days. I took a shower, ate breakfast, wrote over my word count today, made birthday cards for people, and knit a bit of my scarf. I’m also working a grand […]
