I’ve never thought of myself as an exceptionally good writer. I’ve been posting my thoughts online for almost 20 years (insert comment about how the hell it’s been THAT long) and I’ve participated — and finished! — Nanowrimo multiple times, but I still don’t consider myself a writer. Why is this? I recall something similar […]

So, I have some big news to share today. I’ve delayed posting about it here, mainly because I don’t really know what to say about it. I’m moving home to Massachusetts in a week. Yes, a week. Yes, just me. No, I don’t want to get into it more than that. I’ve hired movers to […]
Happy New Year, everybody! I’m excited that it’s 2016. I’m looking forward to making 2016 my year, and of course, I have a few things I’d like to achieve. Since my birthday falls so close to the end of the year, I figured I’d list 35 things I want to do while I’m 35 instead of making […]

I think, honestly, 2013 will be the year of stability. Less sadness, more happiness. Less laziness, more motivation.
So, I’m starting this blog again, as you can see. I haven’t imported any of my old posts and I don’t plan on doing so; I’m hoping to change focus on this site because my life has changed so much this year.
Felt flowers in the living room of my apartment. So, it’s almost 2010. It’s been a strange, strange year, filled with ups and downs, disappointments and triumphs, happiness and sadness. I’ve made new friends and lost others. I moved. I moved! Back to New England, a dream I finally accomplished after wanting it for years and […]
Carrie and I at the local Chick-Fil-A. I’ve had a busy week. This past weekend, my mother and sister flew in for a visit! My mother’s visited me here before, but this was my sister’s first trip to South Bend. I couldn’t wait to show her my favorite places and introduce her to a few […]
