Today was awesome because…

We grilled. Grilled! We have no snow on the ground, finally, and it hit the low 60s today, so we pulled out the grill and made ourselves a few steaks with asparagus. (Picture was to accompany the entry, but I accidentally deleted it from my phone! I’m pretty mad that I don’t have documentation of our first grilled meal of the year.) I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t had grilled food since last September, but today’s dinner tasted especially awesome. We coated our steaks with olive oil and a steak rub, then cooked it medium rare (why cook it any other way?), and spread the greatest sesame-soy mixture in the world over our asparagus. We’re topping it off with wine we tasted at a wine tasting after work.
