Much like last Saturday, I spent this Saturday in New Hampshire with some of my knitting friends. We ate delicious food, caught up on our lives, and crafted all the things. A crafty weekend is the best kind of weekend.
I've dabbled in sewing here and there, but I've never spent quality time with it. Knitting will always be my first love, of course, and spinning my second, but I've learned you can't have too many loves.
I've wanted to knit my own pair of Endpaper Mitts for years, and I knit these faster than any other project I've ever knit. Rainbow and white? Best color combination ever for this pattern. I'm kind of in love with these.
I should write about how I finished my first Snapdragon flip top mitt, right? Right. I'm only just a week late in posting it. But! I knit, and knit, and knit, and weaved in WAY TOO MANY loose ends, and here it is. Done.
Finally, finally, spring has arrived. Sort of. The temperatures have been averaging in the upper 40s / lower 50s, which I can stand much much more than the below freezing temperatures we endured all winter.
